Aircraft Health Monitoring (Ahm) System

An Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) System is a software solution developed by Boeing. It operates from the ground, collecting and analyzing data generated by the aircraft. This information is crucial for Maintenance Control Centers (MCCs), as it helps them assess the current and future serviceability of the aircraft. The AHM System tracks various faults, including ‘low-level’ issues that don’t require immediate action from the flight crew. Instead, these faults are communicated to pilots through status messages displayed on the multifunction display (MFD). Alerts are provided via the Engine Indication and Crew Alerting System (EICAS), ensuring that pilots stay informed about the aircraft’s condition.
