International Airborne Geophysics Safety Association (Iagsa)

The International Airborne Geophysics Safety Association (IAGSA) is a nonprofit organization located in Canada. Its mission is to promote the safe operation of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft during airborne geophysical surveys. Founded in November 1995, IAGSA focuses on developing recommended safety practices. The organization also acts as a hub for sharing safety information and storing specialized statistics. Core members of IAGSA include geophysical survey companies that operate aircraft. Additionally, associate members consist of mining and mineral resource companies that benefit from the survey results, along with aviation companies that conduct these surveys.
