The African Airlines Association, known as AFRAA, is a key trade group for airlines across Africa. Its main goal is to support and promote the interests of African airlines while advocating for the growth of the continent’s aviation sector. Established in April 1968 in Accra, Ghana, AFRAA has its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya today. The association proudly represents 40 member airlines from various African Union countries, working together to enhance the region’s air travel industry.
