The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) is a non-profit trade group that represents scheduled international airlines located in the Asia Pacific region, specifically in time zones from GMT +5 to GMT +12. The AAPA secretariat operates out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The main goal of AAPA is to provide a platform for discussing important issues that affect the aviation industry in this region. They aim to strengthen cooperation with other key players and promote the growth of travel and tourism, which significantly contributes to economic, social, and cultural progress.

AAPA consists of various committees and working groups. One important group is the Technical Committee, which addresses technical and operational challenges faced by its member airlines. This committee oversees several focused groups, including the Engineering and Maintenance Working Group, the Flight Operations and Safety Working Group, and the Materials Management Working Group. In addition to these, AAPA has other specialized groups like the Cabin Safety Working Group, the Crisis Management Working Group, and the Emergency Response Planning Working Group, all dedicated to enhancing safety and efficiency in the aviation sector.
