Hearing

Hearing is our ability to perceive sound, and it plays a vital role in how we interact with the world. We detect sound through vibrations that travel through the air. These vibrations enter our ears and are processed by our auditory system. Once inside the ear, the vibrations are transformed into nerve impulses. These impulses then travel to the brain, mainly the temporal lobe, where we actually interpret the sounds. This process allows us to enjoy music, communicate with others, and become aware of our environment.
