Notified Airspace

Notified airspace refers to any airspace where specific rules apply to flights. According to EUROCONTROL, this includes controlled airspace, which comprises ICAO airspace classes A to E, such as airways, Terminal Control Areas (TMAs), and Control Zones (CTRs). Additionally, it encompasses restricted airspaces, like Prohibited, Restricted, and Danger Areas. It also covers Temporary Reserved Airspace or airspace designated by national regulations. Moreover, notified airspace can include Aerodrome Traffic Information Zones (ATZs) or areas (TIZs) that several European countries have established. This type of airspace can either be controlled or uncontrolled.
