Bird Strike Committee U.S.A. (Bsc Usa)

The Bird Strike Committee U.S.A. (BSC USA) was established to create a space for sharing information and improving wildlife strike data collection. Its goal is to promote the development of technologies that help reduce wildlife hazards while enhancing professionalism in wildlife management programs. BSC USA also acts as a key expert body and serves as a liaison with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), national and international bird strike committees, and various aviation and wildlife organizations. Founded in 1991, this volunteer organization is guided by a steering committee made up of representatives from several organizations, including the FAA, the U.S. Departments of Defense and Agriculture, airlines, airports, and other stakeholders in the aviation industry and private sector.
