Vereinigung Cockpit (Vc)

Established in 1969, the German Air Line Pilots’ Association, known as Vereinigung Cockpit (VC), represents around 9,000 flight crew members across all airlines in Germany, including student and helicopter pilots. VC covers all aspects of professional politics, using its technical expertise to enhance aviation safety. To shape the future of the aviation industry, VC collaborates with governmental agencies, interest groups, industry representatives, research institutions, and training organizations.

Key areas of focus for VC include accident prevention, pilot training, training conditions, licensing issues, ATC procedures, flight duty times, and security matters. Additionally, they publish an annual list of airport deficiencies. With over 15 working committees, VC aims to meet its objectives effectively. Their influence extends beyond Germany, as they actively contribute their expertise at both European and global levels. For more information, visit the VC website.
