Aviation Safety Alliance

The Aviation Safety Alliance is a nonprofit organization established in 1998 by the Directors of Airlines For America (A4A). Its main goal was to serve as an educational resource for journalists covering stories related to aviation safety. The alliance aimed to promote a better public understanding of the civil aviation industry’s high safety standards and strong safety record. In 2005, the Aviation Safety Alliance merged with the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF), continuing its mission within a larger framework.
