Global Fatal Accident Review 1997 2006

The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has an Accident Analysis Group that has been active since 1996. This group was responsible for creating CAP 681, which reviewed global fatal accidents from 1980 to 1996. A key part of their work involves analyzing accident data by identifying various factors and consequences, as well as calculating rates. It’s important to note that the membership of this group isn’t just limited to CAA staff. Recently, the UK CAA published a second review covering global fatal accidents from 1997 to 2006, building on the findings of this dedicated group.
