Arab Air Carriers’ Organization (Aaco)

The Arab Air Carriers’ Organization (AACO) was founded in 1965 as part of the Arab League of States. This trade association represents airlines from the Middle East and North Africa. Headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon, AACO includes 34 member carriers. Its mission is clear: to support Arab airlines, advocate for their shared interests, and promote collaboration. This collaboration aims to enhance operational efficiency and improve service for travelers.

Safety is a top priority for AACO. The organization runs several initiatives focused on safety improvement. These include emergency planning, fostering a safety culture, and increasing awareness of new technologies that can boost safety measures. Training programs are also an essential part of their approach, ensuring that airline staff are well-prepared to handle various situations.
