A repetitive flight plan (RPL) is a type of flight plan that applies to a series of individual flights. These flights are regularly operated and share identical basic features. Operators submit RPLs for retention and repeated use by Air Traffic Service (ATS) units. According to ICAO Annex 2, RPLs are commonly used by airlines for their scheduled flights. Typically, these flights operate over the same route at least once a week. This system helps streamline air traffic management and ensures smoother operations.
