General Air Traffic (Gat)

General Air Traffic (GAT) refers to all flights that follow the rules and procedures set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). This includes both civilian and some military flights, as long as they adhere to ICAO standards. It’s important to note that not all military flights fit this description. Those that do not follow ICAO rules are classified as Operational Air Traffic (OAT). While these definitions are widely recognized in Europe, they may not be fully understood in other regions. GAT plays a crucial role in maintaining safe and efficient air travel worldwide.
